The National Technologist Award is held as a recognition of outstanding work and achievements by Technicians (Laboratory Technician / Assistant and semi-professional staff) whose work is related to science and technology (S & T). The award is expected to provide stimulus and encouragement to them to enhance creativity excellence and multiply their efforts to help advance scientific and technological research in the country.
