The STI Inventory is Malaysia’s national integrated platform for science, technology and innovation (STI) data. It brings together information holistically from over 100 contributing organisations, including universities, government agencies, research institutions, and government-linked companies (GLCs).

STI INDICATOR
The STI Indicator service by MASTIC is the nation’s primary source of qualitative and quantitative data on Science, Technology and Innovation (STI). We collect, analyse and publish data from a wide range of STI studies and reports conducted nationwide.

STI RESOURCES
MASTIC is committed to its mission of being the main reference source, providing excellent services and information resources to support MOSTI’s vision as a leader in science, technology and innovation. Our resources comprise a wide range of collections and knowledge in the fields of Science and Technology (S&T), including innovation, biotechnology, biodiversity, marine science, and information and communication technology (ICT), which are available at the MOSTI Library.

STI INTERNATIONAL RANKING
MASTIC is responsible for monitoring and reporting on Malaysia’s position and scores in the Global Innovation Index (GII) annual report and the Top 100 Innovation Clusters published by WIPO.

STI FORESIGHT
Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) Foresight is a forward-looking approach aimed at identifying future trends, challenges, and opportunities in the field of STI. This approach is not merely predictive, instead, it emphasizes the development of scenarios and policy options that can help the government, industry, and society formulate decisions in a more prepared, strategic, and resilient manner.

STI INSIGHT
MASTIC provides comprehensive STI insights by compiling, analyzing, and presenting national data on science, technology, and innovation. These insights enable policymakers, researchers, and industry players to access reliable information that supports strategic planning, evidence-based decision-making, and sustainable national growth.
