Incentive Category

Scope of Funding

1. Encourage investment in the green technology industry.
2. Encourage the use/purchase of green assets that have been certified by MGTC and listed in the MyHIJAU Directory as green assets

Application Method

There are two methods of application depending on the incentive category as follows.

1. Category GITA Assets- application submitted to MGTC by completing the Asset GITA Application Form which can be downloaded from the MGTC website as per the following link https://www.mgtc.gov.my/what-we-do/green-incentives/green-investment-tax-incentives-gita-gite/
2. GITA Project and GITE Services categories – applications need to submit through MIDA by following links https://investmalaysia.mida.gov.my/EIP/InvestMalaysia.aspx

Qualification Criteria

A new or existing company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2016 and Malaysian resident.
