Objective
● Forming a sustainable ecosystem in job creation, business plan and market expansion
● To enhance local talents in the creative and technical fields by leveraging international cooperation.
● Create more fully owned Malaysian- Intellectual Property or partnerships with Malaysians.
● Quality Intellectual Property is developed and provides income returns at the maximum level starting from development to commercialisation
Scope of Funding
● Mini Project Grant (Up to 100% of the project cost or ceiling amount of RM150,000, or any lower value)
● Development Grant (Up to 100% of the project cost or ceiling amount of RM500,000, or any lower value)
● Production Grant (Up to 60% of the project cost or ceiling amount of RM2,000,000, or any lower value)
● Marketing and Commercialisation Grant (Up to 100% of project cost or ceiling amount of RM300,000, or any lower value)

Qualification Criteria
1. Mini Project Grant
(a) Company
i. Incorporated in Malaysia for not more than 5 years as at the date of submission under the Companies Act 1965, or the Companies Act 2016;and
ii. Active and equity ownership of fifty-one percent (51%) by Malaysians as per the shareholding structure in SSM; OR
b) Enterprise / Sole Proprietorship / Partnership;
i. Registered in Malaysia not more than five (5) years on the date of submission under the Registration of Businesses Act 1956; And
ii. Active and minimum fifty-one percent (51%) ownership is the property of a Malaysian citizen, OR
c) Limited Liability Partnership;
i. Registered in Malaysia for not more than five (5) years from the date of submission under the Limited Liability Partnership Act 2012; And
ii. Active and at least fifty-one percent (51%) ownership is Malaysian
2. Development Grant
Operate for at least one (1) year from the date of application
a) Local and registered companies.
i. established in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 or the Companies Act 2016;
ii. Active and equity ownership of fifty-one percent (51%) by Malaysians as per the shareholding structure in SSM; And
iii. Minimum paid-up capital of RM20,000
3. Production Grant
Operate for at least one (1) year from the date of application
a) Local and registered companies.
i. established in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 or the Companies Act 2016;
ii. Active and equity ownership of fifty-one percent (51%) by Malaysians as per the shareholding structure in SSM; And
iii. Minimum paid-up capital of RM50,000
4. Marketing and Commercialisation Grant
Operate for at least one (1) year from the date of application
a) Local and registered companies.
i. established in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 or the Companies Act 2016;
ii. Active and equity ownership of fifty-one percent (51%) by Malaysians as per the shareholding structure in SSM; And
iii. Minimum paid-up capital of RM20,000
