The 11th annual World Ocean Summit will take place in Lisbon on March 11-13 2024, leading the way to spark conversation and action in the transition to a sustainable ocean economy. The summit is designed to instigate action to develop a sustainable ocean economy; to encourage new partnerships across industries, with NGOs, scientists, technology developers and investors.

The summit will convene the widest cross-section of the ocean community from business and finance to government, national and international policymakers, civil society and academia. By bringing together all stakeholders in the ocean ecosystem, the summit provides the perfect platform to inspire new synergies, solutions and strategies on the track to meet the 2030 targets in UN SDG 14.

With a focus on ocean health, industry strategies and ocean-climate solutions, the summit will feature more than 180 expert speakers in panels, presentations, roundtables and “How to” workshop sessions. The “How to” workshop groups are new for 2024 and will create a set of action points and practical takeaways for individuals and organisations committed to restore ocean health. The two and a half day event will take place at the Lisbon Congress Centre, and will bring together over 1500+ attendees. Experts and senior leaders in the industry will be present, offering an opportunity for networking and engagement.
