THE 7th INTERNATIONAL PLANT BREEDING AND BIOTECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE 2026 (IPBBC2026)
We are pleased to announce that the Genetics Society of Malaysia (Persatuan Genetik Malaysia, PGM) with the support by various institutions in Malaysia will be organizing the following conference:
The 7th International Plant Breeding and Biotechnology Conference 2026 (IPBBC2026).
Date: 28 – 30 April 2026 (Tuesday-Thursday)
Venue: The Noble Resort Hotel, Melaka, Malaysia
Theme: Plant Breeding and Biotechnological Innovations for a Resilient Future
The Conference cordially invites academics, practitioners, scholars, researchers, and policymakers from government agencies to participate as participant or as presenter to present oral or poster papers at IPBBC2026. Interested participants are encouraged to register and submit their abstracts online via:

All submitted abstracts will undergo blind peer review by the Scientific Committee. Authors of accepted abstracts will be required to submit a full paper (if interested in publication), which must include the following sections:
Title, author(s), affiliations and email addresses, abstract, introduction, methodology, results and discussion, conclusion, acknowledgements, and references.
This 2-day conference and 1-day educational visit will discuss the latest advances, progress, innovations and achievements in the field of plant breeding and biotechnology. More than 10 invited speakers will be presenting their views and findings in this conference. The conference will provide opportunities and gather as many geneticists, breeders, scientists, researchers, academicians, biotechnologists, industrialists and students to share their latest knowledge, experiences and achievements.
