Awards Objectives
To honour the most influential researchers in Malaysia whose researches are cited and recognised worldwide. It was hoped that the success of these researchers can be the catalyst to inspire scholars to produce high quality research.
Eligibility Criteria
Hot paper is defined as “a paper published in the past two years that received a number of citations in the most recent two-month period that places it in the top 0.1% of papers in the same field”. The author must also have co-authored at least one highly cited original article. This added requirement ensures that the awardee has a record of high-quality original research.
