The grant application must involve the production of one of the following: Proof of concept Evaluation Up scaling Pre - clinical testing Field testing; and Prototype that impacts humanity and community for the purpose of improving the value of life in the country and the world; or Prototype with the potential to generate knowledge-based industries/new knowledge; or Prototype with the potential to contribute to the country's strategic agenda.
