The eligibility criteria for this application are: (a) Malaysian citizen; (b) Farmers, livestock breeders, fishermen, or agro-entrepreneurs who conduct tourism activities based on agriculture, namely crops, livestock, fisheries, or agro-based industry (IAT); (c) Business entities registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) either under the Companies Act 1965 [Act 125] / Companies Act 2016 [Act 777] or enterprises incorporated under the Business Registration Act 1956 [Act 197], or Business Registration and/or Licenses issued by the Local Authorities, where applicable; (d) Cooperatives registered with the Malaysia Co-operative Societies Commission (SKM); (e) Organizations registered with the Fisheries Development Authority of Malaysia (LKIM) and the Farmers' Organization Authority (LPP); (f) Non-Governmental Organizations registered with the Registrar of Societies Malaysia; (g) Entrepreneurs under the small and micro entrepreneur category, which are those with an annual sales value of less than or not exceeding RM3 million. (h) Focus on projects that are viable, sustainable, and in accordance with the suitability of the environment and location.

Priority is given to agrotourism centers such as the following: (a) Have been carrying out agricultural and tourism activities and continuously receiving visitors (not seasonal and/or operating full-time); (b) Incorporate tourism elements so that visitors can experience the activities carried out, such as enjoying unique dishes according to the state (taste), interacting with livestock or animals (catch), and getting to know more closely the nation's heritage, cultural uniqueness, and local community traditions (feel); (c) Have never been approved for agrotourism grant assistance by KPKM; (d) Have shown good agrotourism business performance and have an active business record of at least one (1) year and have not been declared bankrupt; (e) Agrotourism operators in the micro and small categories; (f) Agrotourism center operators who have a joint venture agreement with farmers, livestock breeders, fishermen, or IAT entrepreneurs in providing suitable packages to be offered to tourists; and (g) Agrotourism centers that will apply for or have MyGAP certification for any sector.
