1. Open to all Malaysians (currently residing in or outside Malaysia). 2. Open to individuals or groups of not more than three people. 3. Applicants must be above 18 years old. 4. Each applicant can only submit one (1) submission. 5. All media are accepted within the stated submission categories: Visual art, Time-based, New media, Performative 6. Submissions may be existing projects or works in progress. 7. Individuals or teams who have previously won the ArtScience™ Prize will be ineligible to participate in the next two (2) competition cycles.
The ASM ArtScience™ Prize is one of the programmes under the ASM ArtScience™ Initiative to recognise talents and appreciate outstanding creations that embody the convergence of art and science. This Prize is the first ever to be established in Malaysia that celebrates the emergence of the artist-scientist community and is awarded biennially.
Cash prize, mini trophy, certificate and travel fellowship (1st and 2nd place winner only)
1. Individuals/Teams must submit their details and project proposal at https://forms.akademisains.gov.my/artscience2025. 2. All applications submitted through the system will be screened and shortlisted based on eligibility and submission criteria. 3. Shortlisted applicants will present their projects to the jury via an online session. 4. The top five (5) finalists will be selected and their works will be exhibited at the ASM ArtScience™ Prize 2025 Exhibition.
