PUBLIC AWARENESS OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION (STI) MALAYSIA 2022

This research output contains the final report of the Public Awareness of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Malaysia 2022 study conducted by the Malaysian Science and Technology Information Centre (MASTIC), Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). The study presents findings from a nationwide survey assessing Malaysians' awareness, knowledge, understanding, interest, attitudes and participation in Science, Technology and Innovation (STI). It also includes analyses on public perceptions of scientific research, health and environmental issues, sources of STI information, awareness and participation in government STI programmes and policies, state-level comparisons, international benchmarking and evidence-based recommendations to support STI policy development, programme evaluation and the strengthening of STI culture in Malaysia.
